A Homestead in Aromas, California
Creativity. Education. Community.
Mosshollow Hill, nestled in Aromas, California, is a dream realized. Wooly sheep wander the oak forest, chickens range the grounds in search of a tasty morsel, cats lounge, goats frisk about, a Leonberger sheds fur and loves everyone, and artists bring their imaginations to life. Join the adventure!
Land Acknowledgement
The land on which we live and gather is the unceded territory of the Mutsun-speaking Amah Mutsun Tribal Band comprised of the descendants of indigenous people taken to missions Santa Cruz and San Juan Bautista during Spanish colonization of the Central Coast. Today, the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band is working hard to restore traditional stewardship practices on these lands and heal from historical trauma. Currently there is a proposal to allow sand and gravel extraction on their most sacred site, Juristac. We at Mosshollow Hill stand with the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band to protect Juristac and oppose this mining proposal.
