Mermaid Halter Top

Description

When Luna decides to have tea with her mer-friends in the Black Lake or off the British coast, she must dress accordingly.

I nunofelted this delicate halter top using silk fibers and ribbons, wool and mohair yarns, and merino wool working them into cotton gauze. I lined the inside of the front with navy-blue cotton material so the camisole can be worn alone despite the cobweb texture of the felt.

The halter can be tied at various lengths and closes with a similar mohair tie in the back. Though the top was created for a size 34″-36″ chest, it can be modified if needed. Just message me about your interest.

This OOAK top consists of various shades of blues and greens resembling the ever-changing color palette of the ocean or a lake. A small piece of abalone dangles from the front catching the light beautifully.

Whether you’re relaxing by the water’s edge or going out for the evening, you’ll look perfectly magical for the occasion.
